REGISTRATION AND MY ACCOUNT
Q: How old do I need to be to be able to play?

Play is restricted to individuals 18 years of age and older who are
residents of jurisdictions where the use of this site is not
prohibited by law. Minors are strictly forbidden to sign up, play
and/or use any credit card on this site.

Q: How do you save my personal details?
A:
We will process your Personal Information in accordance with data
protection laws. We may process your Personal Information for the
following purposes: administering your account; maintaining our own
accounts and records; monitoring website usage levels and quality of
service; and informing you about products and services that you may
be interested in from time to time. Any recordings remain our
property and will only be used for the purposes outlined above.

Q: May
I play with more than one account?
A: For
security reasons, we allow only one account per player.

Q: Can
more than one family member in the same household have an account?
Can my friend and I play from the same computer?
A:
Absolutely! Each player is only allowed one player account. Two
people can play at the same time from the same household, but not at
the same table. This is a way to ensure that collusion is not
occurring.

Q: I have lost my login details, what can I do?
A: If you have lost your password or username click on lost password in the client or please contact support@allstarmahjong.com.

Q: How can I update my personal details?
A: Make sure that you are logged in to My Account pages.

Q: While trying to register my betting account I receive the message about my details registered in the system.
A: If
you receive such a message, please contact our support team by
sending an email to: support@allstarmahjong.com with both your
personal and address details. This will help to verify whether your
account has been registered before.

Q: How do I make a withdrawal?

to your my account pages and click on the withdrawal tab and follow
the instructions.

Debit/Credit Card
We do withdrawal to VISA credit/debit card. This option is available to withdraw using the same credit card as for all your previous deposits. If you use more than one credit card, you will have the option to withdraw on the card with which you made the most deposits in the previous 3 months. This also applies to those who have only one credit card. Refunds to credit cards does not work for all cards.
Normal bank clearing arrangements apply (3-5 banking days). Some banks may impose their own charges for receiving funds, which we are unable to cover. Please check with your bank for details. Withdrawal is only available to VISA credit/debit card.

Due to Master Card regulations you cannot withdraw to your Master Card.

Neteller deposit/withdrawal is available in USD.

Q: What do I need to do to join a game and
start playing Mahjong?

To play Mahjong at Allstarmahjong you’ll need to download and
install our free software: It can be downloaded simply, securely and

Q: How do I download the Mahjong software (client)?
A:
Just click on the download button at any page on the Allstar Mahjong
site.

Q: What
are the system requirements for my computer if I want to play?
A:
The minimum system requirements needed to run the Mahjong software
are:

Q: I
downloaded the software but now I can't find it.
A: If you downloaded the software but forgot where you saved it, Just go to Start-->Find-->File or Folders and type in “allstarmahjongsetup.exe” in the "Named:" box. When you find it, simply double click and the installation wizard will start!

Q: I
installed the software. Where do I go to start playing?
A:
Once you have downloaded the software, locate the Allstarmahjong icon and click on it. Or you may click on the "Start" and find it under Allstarmahjong Taro program

Q: Do I
need to go to the web site each time I want to play?
A:
No, you just have to click on the Allstarmahjong icon on the desktop and it will automatically connect you so you can start playing.

Q: What
should I do if I suspect that another player is cheating?
A:
If you suspect a player is trying to cheat please contact us with the
players screenname and if possible any hand numbers they may have
been involved in. Please send as much details relating to the event
as you possibly can and we will take appropriate action.

Q: What is the commission to the house for the Mahjong?
A: Allstarmahjong is a Mahjong room, not a casino. That means that you play against other players over the internet, not against the house. We receive compensation by taking a "commission", which is a small amount of money from a fixed fee or a % of the net win depending on game type.

Q: What are your chat rules?
A: Certain forms and topics of chat are not
allowed on Allstarmahjong. Players engaging in offensive chat will be
subject to a chat warning or a suspension of their chat privileges.
Chat that is not permitted on Allstarmahjong includes (but is not
limited to):
Profanity: We do not permit profane, vulgar, racist or abusive/insulting chat in
our chat windows. We do have a feature by which certain profane or
otherwise unacceptable words are asterisked out; A filtered word is
one that has been deemed unacceptable on our Mahjong site. Players
attempting to bypass the filter may also be subject to a warning or
suspension of chat privileges.
Begging/Solicitation: We do not permit players to beg or panhandle for tiles, whether play
money or real money. No solicitation is permitted in any Mahjong game
at any time. There are facilities in place to prevent many instances
of solicitation.
Flooding: The sending of multiple and frequent messages to the chat window in
order to drown out legitimate chat is forbidden.
Non-English
chat: We are aware that our players are
from around the world, and that for many of them English is not their
first language. However, at this time our policy on most tables is
that English is the only language allowed to be used in
Allstarmahjong chat. On a small number of tables and in a small
number of regional tournaments, chat may be allowed in a particular
language and in English. These tables and tournaments will be
clearly labeled. If you are not comfortable with non-English chat,
please do not join these tables or tournaments.

Q: I don't like my chosen Avatar. Can I change it?
A: Yes, you may change your image by selecting
"Select/Change Image" from the Preferences menu in the
Client.

Tournaments
Q: Where
can I view upcoming Mahjong tournaments?
A: You may view upcoming Mahjong tournaments
by selecting the Tournament tab" in the Mahjong Client main
lobby. You will see all Mahjong tournaments in progress (“Running”),
recently completed Mahjong tournaments (“Completed”), and
Mahjong tournaments which begin soon (“Registering” or
“Announced”).

Q: How do I register for a Mahjong
tournament?
A: If a Mahjong tournament is in the
"Registering" state, highlight that tournament by clicking
on it, then click on the Tournament Lobby button. Once the Tournament
Lobby screen opens, click on Register. You will need to log-in if you
have not already done so for this session.

Q: Can I play a sidegame and a Mahjong
tournament at the same time?
A: Yes,
you are welcome to play a side game and a Mahjong tournament
simultaneously. In the interest of fairness to all players, we ask
that you act promptly when it is your turn in either Mahjong game.
